About AutoGhost

Built by a driver, for drivers.

Independent, UK-built, and unusually stubborn about privacy. Here's what we're doing and why.

AutoGhost started with a red-light moment. A phone glance, a near-miss, a realisation that willpower wasn't the problem — the phone was.

Every distraction app I tried wanted my location. Every one of them shipped my drives to a server. Every one gamified in a way that shamed me when I fell off the wagon. None of them made distraction impossible in the drive itself — they made it inconvenient after the fact.

So I built AutoGhost. Motion sensors instead of GPS. On-device instead of cloud. Automatic instead of manual. Streaks that celebrate, not shame. And, deliberately, no dashboard for a parent or spouse to watch. Trust needs stimulus, not surveillance.

We're small, independent, and stubborn about the small stuff. If that resonates, welcome.

What We Believe

Four values, no negotiables.

Privacy first

No GPS. No cloud. No trackers. Your location and your drives stay on your device, always.

Independent & transparent

No VC. No hidden roadmap. Small team, direct emails, honest changelogs.

Safety focused

Every design decision starts with "does this make the drive safer?" — not "will this drive engagement?"

Open roadmap
