How the leaderboard works
The leaderboard is completely optional. It's off by default. In the app, go to Settings → Data → Global leaderboard to opt in.
When you opt in, you pick a public handle (not your real name). We upload your handle plus your aggregate stats — drive count, cumulative drive time, streak, longest streak, badges, level. We neverupload your name, email, device ID, location, drive routes, or which apps you've chosen to block.
Rankings are calculated by three axes — level (primary), longest streak, and total blocked drive time. Reaching the top level (GOAT) takes at least 24 months of consistent driving; nobody can rush it.
You can opt out at any time from the app. Opting out immediately deletes your entry from the leaderboard.
